            EF0 tornado touched down at Massey ranch air park. Two
            planes flipped, extensive damage to three hangars with
            sheet metal debris scattered on roadway. Lots of small
            trees down. Winds estimated 70 to 80 mph.

.Overview... Strong thunderstorms developed over southeast Volusia
County late Friday afternoon following a sea breeze collision. One
of the storms became severe and produced a tornado which impacted
Edgewater and New Smyrna Beach.

Survey summary: the tornado touched down at the Massey Ranch Airpark
in Edgewater where three small aircraft were flipped and three
hangars sustained major damage. The tornado continued northeast and
uprooted numerous trees and caused minor roof damage to several
homes in an adjacent neighborhood. Farther downstream... sporadic
tree damage and minor structural damage occurred. The tornado lifted
near the Halifax river... approximately 1.5 miles from where it
touched down. 69
