Pontotoc County in east central Oklahoma...
Hughes County in southeastern Oklahoma...
Marshall County in southeastern Oklahoma...
western Coal County in southeastern Oklahoma...

* until 715 am CDT

* radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms early this
morning. As storms move northeast... several storms will move over
some locations and cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
Localized rainfall amounts of 3 inches will be possible.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Ada... Seminole... Holdenville... Madill... Tishomingo... Wewoka... Kingston...
Wetumka... Byng... Allen... Mannsville... Ravia... Stonewall... Wapanucka...

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate Route.

Tornado, reported by NWS storm survey.


            An EF1 tornado affected the area near Highway 377 north
            of Byng. At least one residence was severely damaged.
            Additional damage was noted to barns and many trees.

5 miles NW of Roff, Pontotoc County.

Thunderstorm wind damage, reported by NWS storm survey.


            An area of thunderstorm wind damage was observed from
            about 5 miles northwest of Roff to about 5 miles north of
            Roff. Tree damage was noted along this 4 to 5 mile long
            path and at least one metal barn sustained significant
            damage.
