* general seas... 18 ft to 20 ft slowly subsiding today and tonight
to 12 to 14 ft by early Thursday.

* First Ebb... around 915 am Wednesday. Seas near 21 ft with
breakers.

* Second Ebb... around 915 PM Wednesday. Seas near 17 ft with
breakers.





Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Small Craft Advisory for rough bar means that wave conditions
are expected to be hazardous to small craft in or near Harbor
entrances.

... Strong south winds battering the coastal areas and higher peaks...

Strong front is slowly pushing towards the coast. South winds
increased along the coast Tuesday afternoon, with one burst of strong
winds occuring late in the afternoon. Afterwards, winds eased a bit.
But as of 430 am, the south winds have been increasing. Strong gusty
south winds will continue this morning, and likely peak between 7 am
and 10 am today, then slowly ease.

... Strong south winds battering the coastal areas and higher peaks...

Strong front is slowly pushing towards the coast. South winds
increased along the coast this afternoon, with one burst of strong
winds occuring late in the afternoon. Afterwards, winds eased a bit.
But south winds have been increasing since 7 PM. Strong gusty south
winds will continue overnight, then slowly ease Wednesday morning.
